Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: What does it cost to participate in Blue Binder Project?
|
Q: Do you really offer a one-week, Risk-Free Guarantee? |
We offer three payment options at Blue Binder Project. You can choose to pay in full at a discounted rate or select a 30 or 90 day payment plan. You can learn more at BBP Pricing
|
Yes, we do! And yes, this is pretty unusual in the world of ‘read the small print’ and businesses that make money by taking advantage of people. The reason for our guarantee is simple – we truly want to help you get more from life, and we believe your participation in Blue Binder Project is the right thing for you. It is always scary to sign up for something on the internet – you don’t want to be taken advantage of – so this way you get a week’s worth of Blue Binder Project participation to make sure this is right for you. By taking the risk away, our goal is to help you pick up the phone and call us right now, because you have nothing to lose, and so much to gain!

Q: How does your one-week, Risk-Free Guarantee work?
First, you call us and we decide together that Blue Binder Project is right for you.
Second, you choose your payment schedule and make your first payment. We then overnight the materials to you and schedule a rollout call for some time in the next few days.
Third, during the rollout call we go through your Week One work, and you will be contacted by your coach in the next few days to schedule your coaching phone calls, the first of which will be roughly a week after your rollout phone call.
Fourth, you put a genuine and authentic effort into your week one work and you talk with your coach during your Week One coaching call.
Fifth, you then have two business days after your first coaching call to tell us if you no longer wish to participate in Blue Binder Project. We sure don’t want you to feel that way, but if you do, email us (info@bluebinderproject.com) with the words ‘not feeling better’ in the subject line, and let us know what is going on for you. We’ll reach out to you to see if there is something we can improve to make things better for you, but if there isn’t, we will refund the entire fee you’ve paid.

Q: What is the weekly time commitment?
|
Q: What is a rollout call? |
Each week you will have a 1/2 hour coaching call with your assigned coach. You will also have homework each week in your binder. Ideally we suggest you do your binder work each day, maybe 15-30 minutes a day. Some clients spend a little more time, some a little less. What's important here is that you will get out of Blue Binder Project what you put into it. The more focused and committed you are, the more benefit you will receive!
|
Your rollout call happens after you hire us and after you receive your Blue Binder from us. During our rollout call we spend the time together to make sure you understand our process to give you a great foundation for what is to come. We talk through when & how you can expect to receive the materials as well as talk though how you can get the most impact with your personal priorities using our curriculum. We then review the Week One curriculum, answer any questions you have, and let you get to work!

Q: Can I wait until life calms down a bit to start Blue Binder Project?
To be blunt, no. You can’t wait until life calms down because you won’t do it later, regardless of how much you think you will now. And please understand that we say this from a place of love, not judgment! You can truly believe you will pick this back up later, because that certainly makes logical sense, but that isn’t how the human brain works. Right now, you are willing to do things you wouldn’t have done two weeks ago, and that you won’t do in two months from now – literally. That is the true power of your window of clarity.
Here is another way to say this - Each of us has a protective shell about ourselves that keeps us safe from society. The flip side of that protective shell is that it also keeps us confined into who we are. If you want to make change during your everyday life, you can, but you are essentially sanding away at that shell from the outside – this takes a long time and more persistence than most of us possess.
With the trauma of being arrested, today that protective shell is shattered and in pieces on the ground. Right now, you are able to make true changes for yourself without having to break through that protective shell. But even as you read this, that shell is reforming, and if you wait ‘until later’ to do something for yourself, that protective barrier will be back in place, and you will have lost this opportunity.

Q: What happens if I don’t do Blue Binder Project, that I view this as just a ‘dumb mistake’ and don’t use this time to grow?
We really encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity that comes with being arrested to work through whatever part of life has you stuck. This is more than just an idle suggestion – at the end of the day, you were arrested because some part of life isn’t working the way it needs to, and the pressure/stress/stuck feeling of that ‘something’ led you to do an act that doesn’t make a lot of sense – bluntly, you are an intelligent person, and driving after drinking isn’t an intelligent thing to do, so there is a disconnect. If you don’t take this chance to work on yourself, you run the risk of what is sometimes referred to as an AFLO (Another F’ing Learning Opportunity) – we didn’t coin that phrase, but it sure seems to fit.
Not that this exact thing would happen again, but if you don’t make the needed changes for yourself now, that same pressure/stress/stuck feeling will eventually return, and the next ‘opportunity’ will be after you do something that doesn’t make good sense in a relationship or your job or career or with your family. This is what happens in order to give you another opportunity for change. Needless to say, you don’t want too many of these opportunities because they don’t usually come associated with something pleasant, so please give us a call today. (877) 302-7710

Q: Will this work for me?
|
|
Q: Does my insurance cover Blue Binder Project?
|
Q: Will you represent me on my DUI case?
|
|
Yes, if you let it and are ready to do the work to change. We believe in the power of changing your mindset, and in the power of taking action to make changes real. To gain the most value possible from Blue Binder Project, you must unite both—the ideas with the action. We’re here to help you with direction, accountability and support, but it begins by helping yourself here!
|
You are welcome to contact your insurance company to see if they will reimburse you for all or a portion of the cost of Blue Binder Project. We will be glad to support you in this effort to the extent we can. Though we’ve not yet had a client be successful in this, we believe it is only a matter of time until we can help an insurance company see past the short-term cost to see the long-term benefits that Blue Binder Project provides.
|
No, Blue Binder Project is not a law firm, and we cannot give you legal advice or represent you.
|
Q: Can Blue Binder Project count as a court-required substance abuse treatment program?
The short answer to this question is that it does not replace a court-required substance abuse treatment program in Oregon, and, though we cannot give legal advice, it probably does not replace a court-required obligation in other states either (please verify this with your attorney).
Why is this? Because we did not design Blue Binder Project to replace a substance abuse treatment program, or individual counseling, or a twelve-step program. Depending on what you need as an individual, each of these traditional resources can be very beneficial. The problem with these resources is that each takes time for you to gain traction with, and by the time you are moving forward with any of these resources, you’ve burned through most of your thirty-day window of clarity. Instead, we believe Blue Binder Project is the right way to start moving forward immediately! With the momentum of Blue Binder Project success moving you forward, you can then transition into these traditional resources as they become available.

Q: What does the course include?
|
Q: Is this a group session or do I meet with my coach 1 on 1?
|
Q: How do the weekly sessions with my coach work?
|
Blue Binder Project includes a 4-week scientifically validated curriculum consisting of weekly homework, a mindset-based book and one-on-one personalized coaching calls. This is a powerful combination to help you gain better awareness of what is happening in your life, what you want to change and how to get there!
|
This is a one on one telephone call with your assigned coach designed to personalize the Blue Binder curriculum to your specific goals and needs. Calls last 1/2 an hour each week. You will review the work you have completed for that week. The materials are designed to prepare you for a meaningful conversation with your coach.
|
Your weekly coaching sessions are done by scheduled appointments on the telephone and can be done from your home or office, anywhere you can have some privacy and won't be interrupted. We know you are a busy person, and we want this to be convenient, During each call you will talk with your coach about your Blue Binder homework, the insights you are gaining and the changes you want to be working on.

Q: Can you recommend a DUI Specialist Law Firm to help me?
First, a word on our recommendations – we can recommend a firm, but, at the end of the day, this is your life, so please do your own research to make sure that our recommendations are right for you. You are a unique person, and we want you to be sure you hire a firm that cares about you personally. Lastly, we trust our recommended attorneys to refer you to a different qualified attorney if he or she cannot help you directly.
In Oregon – Call Reynolds Defense Firm: 503.223.3422, www.reynoldsdefensefirm.com.
In California – not yet. We are building relationships and law firm affiliations, but we won’t recommend a firm until we’ve worked with a firm for long enough to understand not just their competency in law, but their business acumen (you want an attorney who can focus on you, not on the thousand things that can go wrong in a poorly run business), and their philosophy in working with their clients. We are close, but not there yet.

Q: How do I know if I’ll benefit from Blue Binder Project?
You know you will benefit because you are reading this. Seriously. You wouldn’t be on this site if our message didn’t resonate with you. Our message wouldn’t resonate with you if you weren’t ready to grow. So, quit reading these FAQ’s and call us or fill out the webform already!
Q: What happens when I get in touch with you?
The next step is for us to have a brief (and free) conversation to talk through a few things:
- First, we’d like to get to know a little about you and answer any questions you might have. This information will let us decide together if Blue Binder Project makes sense for you.
- Next, we’ll talk through the cost of Blue Binder Project and payment options.
- And then, assuming we choose to work together, we will schedule your Blue Binder Project rollout so you can get started!
